Relaxed, rustic and stylish, Hanbury Barns Wedding Venue is a new venue set in the heart of the National Forest, Staffordshire.

…The atmosphere was filled with laughter and happiness as family and friends came together to celebrate the love between Molly and Ryan. The natural and instinctive styling created a heartwarming and emotional feel to the day.

Kathryn and Jordan's stunning wedding was in December, days before Christmas, a stunning barn location in rural Staffordshire, decorated with stunning florals by Carrie Lucas Flowers.  The entire day took place at one location, which was great, because having everything in one place meant simpler logistics and much more  time for mingling and celebrating with family and friends..

Thank you for making my 2017 incredible!  I have been doing this lovely job for 10 beautiful, emotional and challenging years.  In that time I have become a wife, become a Mum, made our house into a home, moved into beautiful little premises on a farm, sent my son off to school, I have grown both as a person and as a photographer and I have found my 'happy'.  

I wanted to walk you through a full day's wedding with this blog post, so it is quite long, but shows a typical wedding timeline from getting ready in the morning through to the first dance and evening celebrations.

The wedding of Francesca and John back in 2014 is a memorable one, firstly they were just lovely people and their day was perfect, just how they wanted it to be and secondly it was at The Ashes Exclusive Country House Wedding Venue, which is one of my favourite Staffordshire wedding venues!  I have photographed quite a few weddings there so it is really nice to be able to show just how wonderful this venue actually is!

I honestly don't know what I expected, but I didn't go with the intention of shooting loads of images, I was more interested business related discussions, but 5 minutes in the camera came out of the bag, the models were amazing and the decor provided by The Word is Love and Red Floral Architecture was to die for. 

When one of your oldest school friends gets married.  Yeah that.  You know just one thing, you are going to remember being part of an emotional and beautiful day for the rest of your life.

Laurie and Luke had the most amazing church wedding followed by a marquee wedding reception at home.  Everything was perfect, the weather was beautiful and everyone had such a lovely time. My candid approach to wedding photography really suited the relaxed and natural ambience of the day
