Back to my Roots - Photographing Weddings in Hertfordshire

When one of your oldest school friends gets married.  Yeah that.  You know just one thing, you are going to remember being part of an emotional and beautiful day for the rest of your life.

All of that.

Laila and Fredo didn't ask for photos, they asked for me to be there with them, but in my own mind, it's a wedding, it's my friends and  it would give me a chance to give them 'something' of their day to remember just how lovely a day it was.  

Upon arrival and seeing Laila it took all of 0.6 seconds for me cry and she did too.  Quite a lot.  She looked beautiful and as her friend I felt so much pride and happiness at seeing these two gorgeous humans, these two wonderful parents, of two amazing little boys, becoming husband and wife. 

I'm not all that great at using words to describe how a moment felt, not if I am to do it any justice anyway. That's kind of where the camera comes in, I do seem to hone in on emotion to tell the story, it's just the outcome of a very emotional heart I guess.
