Ellen & Ben, well where do I begin?  From the very first text and email to the pre wedding shoot and then photographing their wedding, it felt like we were old friends (although they are both significantly younger than me)  they were so comfortable in front of the camera, so crazy in love with each other, it was heartwarming to be around them both.  

Planning a wedding, as exciting as it is, can be stressful at times; managing budgets, choosing suppliers,  deciding on themes or colour schemes.  

Imagine then, planning two weddings!  One in the country that you are currently living and working in (Australia) and one over the other side of the world in the country you are originally from (England).

Maternity photography and portraiture in Staffordshire, Shropshire, Hertfordshire and all over the UK.  Sharon and Eddie have spent the last five years building their careers and making a home. So I can't think of a better place to start with the 'bump' shoot than their back garden, which will surely be a place their child will  explore, play and learn as they grow up.  

I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding at Pendrell Hall at the end of July.  Although most people feel a bit nervous in front of the camera, Tracey and Adam were really relaxed and Mills was a bit of a poser, although she wasn't that keen on the rain bless her.

The two weddings I was most nervous about, were both incredible, enjoyable, emotional.  My two couples this weekend; Ellen and Ben on friday at Packington Moor in Lichfield and then Jon and Mel on Saturday at Upper House in Hayfield, Derbyshire.  A message to you all.  Thank you, it is beyond my capability to even find the words to express how much I loved this weekend and working with you all

Back in April I photographed this beautiful wedding at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club in Harpenden, it was the wedding of Lauren and Rob.  I loved working with them both, they  gave a lot of input into the photography, mainly they gave their time on the day to get some lovely beautiful portraits and even though it was a little bit chilly at times, they  embraced it  and each other (for warmth) and just had fun being with their family and friends.
