Couples Shoot: Tracey and Adam at Darnford Park in Lichfield
I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding at Pendrell Hall at the end of July. Although most people feel a bit nervous in front of the camera, Tracey and Adam were really relaxed and Mills was a bit of a poser, although she wasn't that keen on the rain bless her.
Wedding Photography: Success, Tiredness, Motivation and Love
The two weddings I was most nervous about, were both incredible, enjoyable, emotional. My two couples this weekend; Ellen and Ben on friday at Packington Moor in Lichfield and then Jon and Mel on Saturday at Upper House in Hayfield, Derbyshire. A message to you all. Thank you, it is beyond my capability to even find the words to express how much I loved this weekend and working with you all
Lauren and Rob: Aldwickbury Park Golf Club Wedding Photography, Harpenden
Back in April I photographed this beautiful wedding at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club in Harpenden, it was the wedding of Lauren and Rob. I loved working with them both, they gave a lot of input into the photography, mainly they gave their time on the day to get some lovely beautiful portraits and even though it was a little bit chilly at times, they embraced it and each other (for warmth) and just had fun being with their family and friends.
2016: So Far You have Been Lovely
So I am eleven weddings in to 2016, almost half way through and I am looking forward to meeting more incredible people during the second half. I am slightly ashamed that I haven't got round to blogging my weddings yet (I will get there!) so I thought I would do a post that sums up some of the gorgeousness that 2016 has already sent my way
Couples Shoot: Ellen & Ben at Packington Moor Near Lichfield
...whether the right people will see my posts. So please if you have taken the time to look at this blog and you like what you see, could you be kind enough to 'Like' the post on my page and if you know Ellen and Ben please 'share' it too, I would be so grateful. Ellen and Ben will be receiving their full gallery anytime soon, but for now, here is their gorgeous preview...
Lauren & Rob: An Autumn Couples Shoot at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club in Harpenden
I met with Rob and Lauren last autumn at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club, their lovely hertfordshire wedding venue. I loved this shoot, it was a chilly autumnal day, but the colours of the leaves were just stunning and beautiful; we had a good laugh throughout.
Hannah and Harry: Couples Shoot at Newstead Abbey, Nottingham
I believe it's such an important and valuable part of the wedding photography experience. It's daunting for couples to begin with, but usually within about 10-15 minutes I can visibly see the nerves quickly disappearing, replaced by a new confidence in front of the camera.
Chloe and Fraser: A Wedding at Packington Moor in Lichfield #underthehat
Their beautiful wedding deserves a blog post all to itself, however in support of raising awareness of Cluster Headaches, I asked Chloe if it was possible to share her story, and how she and Fraser coped with her condition during one of the biggest days of their lives in time for Cluster Headache Awareness Day tomorrow - I personally would like to see #underthehat trending on Twitter!
